Common Billing Questions

Why did I receive more than one bill?

You may receive more than one bill depending on the services you received. You will receive a bill from the hospital for any services you received while at the hospital. You may receive a second bill for physician charges which will be billed separately from hospital charges. Additionally if you have surgery you may receive a bill for anesthesia.

The hospital bill does not include fees for your surgeon, anesthesia provider, radiologist, take home equipment (DME), pathology or pathologist. These services will be billed separately. While we make every effort to utilize providers who are in-network with your insurance plan, please be aware that this hospital does contract with outside physicians and services who may not be a participating provider in your network.
