Dr. Brett Gentry, a board-certified neurosurgeon, received his Bachelor of Science degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine in Austin, Texas. He completed his internship in general surgery and his neurosurgery residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Waco, Texas. He received his specialty certification from the American Board of Neurological Surgeons in 2006.
Dr. Gentry is a member of the Amarillo Surgical Society, American Medical Association, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Potter-Randall Medical Society, Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Gentry believes in continuing education and staying informed about the most current advanced procedures for neurological surgery. He also specializes in spinal surgery. Dr. Gentry is married with three children and enjoys raising his family in the West Texas community.
